Chilli Jelly
Chilli Jelly is extremely versatile and can be used as a marinade, a dip or as a sauce. Here are a few tried and tested ways that we enjoy our homemade Chilli Jelly:

  • On a burger- Substitute burger relish with a dollop of chilli jelly for a sweet and spicy change

  • Sweet and sour chicken with a kick - Add chopped vegetables (peppers, aubergine, courgette) into a casserole dish alongside several chicken breasts. Add a tin of pineapple chunks then Pour over a full jar of chilli jelly then bake in the over for around 25 minutes. Serve with rice.

  • Served with cheese - Chilli Jelly can be served up on a cheese board instead of Quince or grapes. The sweet and spicy taste marries perfectly with a strong stilton.

  • Chicken Kebab Marinade - Pour a jar of Chilli Jelly onto chicken or lamb kebabs and leave to marinade for a good 6 hours before BBQing.
